Recruitees
« on: February 13, 2005, 06:17:12 pm »
Howdy All,

Well, the guilds are advertising.  Why not the recruits?  It\'s hard to wade through all the posts.

I would like to begin a thread where people looking for guilds can post a bit about themselves and hopefully get recruited.

I\'ll go first!  (I love being first!)

(No offense to my current guild, it\'s just not a great fit.)

Mulla Nasrudin is a cantankerous, obnoxious, inflammatory spell-caster. Mostly I practice the blue way, though I am considering becoming an illusionist.  I am neither evil nor good.  I do not seek great power, only great influence, and I\'m not interested in conquering the world.  Is there a guild that is dedicated to Loki-like trickery?  An Erisian sort?

You can often find me in the tavern or the casino.

references available upon request.

May all your sequences converge.

Ok... I wonder why it wasn\'t a great fit? I mean, you sound like someone everyone would want to have in their guild. :P

Because most respectable guilds are not looking for lazy people who can\'t do a little clicking.

Phinehas: I can\'t figure it out, either. :)
Kiern: I\'m not looking to join a respectable guild!  Thanks for the advice, though.

As much fun as I could have with a \"let\'s bag on buddha\" thread, I started this post was because I was encountering people trying to recruit new members.  This forum could be two-sided, not just guild advertising, but players as well.

... basically. Yeah. Most of those guilds are in-game only guilds.

Wel although I like forums myself I have to admit thhat I don\'t see why it\'s a rewuirement? I mean why talk about the game when you can play it and it is a game with ingamechat.

Anyhow lets just try to keep the responses on-topic. If your not a guild interested and asking about someone who posted here or want to offer membership post somewhere else please.

Buddha: oki like trickery but not good nor evil? That will be a hard match think Cabal might be something you should look at depending how strong you are going with the trickery ;)

Well he did say respectable...

buddha: The reason no one creates these threads is for the reason Kiern has stated.  If you cannot simply read a few threads without getting bored what does that say about you?

We\'ve seen these threads before.

Only n00bs don't quote themselves...

To expand...

I really think these should not be allowed, one or two is fine...but if people start following buddha\'s way of doing things this place could be spammed up with lazy people (ahah...nevermind).  This forum is for the guilds to post, as read in the description, not individuals.
