Alright already, calm down. I\'m second in command of the VanGuard. We are still a fairly new guild. The goal of our guild at this point in time untill more features are implemented is to 1) recruite as many new members as possible in order to catch up to some of the bigger guilds before the guild wars aspect is implemented. 2) To share information with these members helping them understand the game and which way is up. We do not have a web page as of yet but there will be one in the next week or two. As far as our ranking structure goes,
Apprentice
Guard
Ranger
Acolyte
Paladin
Lieutenant
Captain
Commander
Lord
Currently we are basing advancement to Guard on highest skill levels, Ranger and Acolyte on recruiting efforts, and Paladin on Training new recruites. These structures will be changed in the future, and we will have a much more defined point and advancement structure in our web page.
Also when we release our web-page we will be adding tutorials and info pertaining to just about everything the group of us know about the game.
Currently our leader is Lord Remvak
Second in Command soon to be commander Ganga
Lieutenant Arew
Are our 3 topmost members who are usually willing to answer any questions of which they know the answers. Also Ralas is looking at a couple of promotions and will soon be in the upper eshilon of our guild.

Robin Magus whenever you want to duel I\'ll be more than happy to accept.

I have seen a few of you in game... not sure how many but you are active.  Are you working on a site yet or anything?

Just make sure you dont put up any Quest guides that give anything more than extremely vague hints(look at the ps license)

Any help or hints that our members will receive will be in-game in the spirit of RP.  Anything outside of this would be an insult to all of you and to us.  Therefore, I agree with you Tarachnul.  There will be no guides, although such a comment was hardly neccessary...

Well, I\'ve chatted with Remvak, and I\'ve seen quite a few Vanguards around. So, activity looks pretty good. However, you don\'t have a site (yet), you haven\'t stated any real goals or reasons for existance. By goals I don\'t mean to \"recruit members.\" Are you a good guild, fighting against evil? Or are you followers of darkness? Are you another Explorers Guild? Information is lacking.

I agree with Icefalcon; give us more info.

I would be glad if you could add the guild\'s background story (a small contribution to the roleplay environment we seek) and its goals and beliefs to the fisrt post.

K, guys, I gave good warning that I was going on a vacation. It did run a bit long though, I just got home today. Notice we have an update. Anyways, I have a couple of things with school that I\'ve got to take care of, so I am probably going to be busy untill Tuesday I\'m afraid. I will most likely be on a couple of times before then. I will most likely start work on the webpage on Wednesday. So the plan is that I\'ll be online in the game world prolly around 6:00 PM Pacific Time, to take suggestions on the contents of the page. In case I don\'t talk to him before then, if someone could inform Remvac that I will be on then I would appreciate it. So again sorry for turning a 5 day Vacation into a 9 day Vacation, but I definately needed it. Talk to you all soon.

Ganga, this is Arew.  Do we still need an emblem for VanGuard?  If not, do you want me to start working on one?  I\'m getting decent at using GIMP, so I can make a few and send \'em on to you, or Remvak.

K guys, I\'m sorry. I missed Remvak last week, I guess our lines got crossed or something, haven\'t quite figured out our time zone defferences. So we still have not started work on the page. I just had a majorly bad weekend, two people passed away and most of my best friends are in pretty rough shape at the moment. It\'s resulted in me having to take time away from school, also have to take another day off this week for a funeral, possibly two days for the two of them. Therefore falling behind in school. 8 courses doesn\'t leave much slack. My second wave of midterms starts this week also, yeah!! So yeah, life\'s a bit of a mess for me at the moment. I will pop into the game world a few times times this week at which time I will give my e-mail address to those with sufficient rank within the guild. If those I give it to can e-mail me with all of you suggestions, (orders, from Remvak) it would help me out exponencially. If I collect enough information this way, it won\'t take me long at all to put the site together, once I get through this wave of school and life issues.

Hey! This is Remvak, leader of the Vanguard, i finally managed to get an account on this forum. As many of you have noticed, our power in Planeshift has diminished ever since the item glitch and the coming of the wipe :( , however, I would like to keep our organisation together in preperation for the wipe, so until we get a website up and running we shall be co-ordinating our efforts through the forums

well arew not many people go on nowadays, they all jus think its pointless until the wipe comes, a few come online every now n then, but thats all, im tryin to keep us co-ordinated so we can reform after the wipe, well al the vanguards can now pm me on this account n gimme their email addresses or somthin so i can invite em bak in after the wipe.

and magus:
1. were tryin but not many people wanna due to the forthcoming wipe

2. wots wrong withour ranks? personally i dont like the guilds of many guilds

3. while we want as many members as we can we dont wanna recruit loads at a time, we want people we know we can trust to keep gaming on planeshift, so advertising isnt always essential, besides we already have 20 members, for now were content with that

edit: we shall sort out a site for our guild after the wipe n weve pulled out group back together

3 i didnt mean mass recruiting. Just meant dont make it too strict and give strangers a chance.
