ok one criticism, the FAQS on the site do not do enuff for relatively stupid ppl like, talks about all these system requirements things i\'ve never even heard of.

questions.

1. Is the demo a playable online version?

2. when will the final version be released?

3. What will the system requirements be?

4. Does ne one want a newb to join their clan ?

1. Is the demo a playable online version?

Yes, the demo is playable online with our server at ps.gamiix.com.  At the moment the demo is just a sample to give people a general idea of what we are trying to do.  You can walk around and chat with other players but stuff like items and combat will be added as we release new versions.

2. when will the final version be released?

At the moment nobody can tell. We are all volunteers so we work on PlaneShift whenever we have time.  And being a project like this we cannot really see that far into the future. We just keep rumbling forward

3. What will the system requirements be?

At the moment that is hard to tell as well.  The engine that we use is still in development and undergoing some dramatic improvements.  At the moment I\'m using a 700 Mhz machine with a fairly old graphics card and it works pretty good.   We are also planning to make sure that people on modem will be able to play so you won\'t need a super fast connection. ( we hope )

4. Does ne one want a newb to join their clan ?

There are many guilds around. Try searching the forums and see if you can find some of the guild websites.

Hey first of all.
Yes, the demo is playable online. with the max ppl limit of 10.
There is no set date, so no one really knows, but the next update will be in 2-3 months, no garanties.
And no one know of the ACTUAL system requirments, but would be fairly high, but not god-like high.
And i offer you to join us, Hellsing, couple of top 10 positions are still available. noobs, and everyone else for that matter are welcome.

The online demo is at a very early stage of development so doesn\'t offer anything in terms of a game, but it does give a really nice snapshot of things to come.

Thanks for your warm welcome, its certainly a change.

well i must say this game reminds me a great deal about a game, thats is also done as a \"hobby\" with volunteers.

high standard of role playing etc.

and well i am pretty much of a newb to this game, but certainly not to clans, i have been part of the one i just quit for 3 years, so u can count on me being here a while.

i\'m loyal like a dog lol, thats why my old leader took advantage of me so much

well i am getting upgrades to my computer cuz its so ancient, RAM and processor should be fine, the only thing that worries me are my Modem cuz its not cable, and the 3D card.

ne way i will be checking out those sites

although, um dark empire seems well, basically another guild did that in another game and they came close to being banned just cuz of it.

Yeah, Kada, that list is way too old.
Half os those guilds dun exist anymore, or the sites don\'t work.

P.S. i would also like to know what it means, since we are allied with The Dark Empire, plus I would like to avoid it...

OK, OK, I\'ll go through the links tonight and update those that have changed.

So which guilds do you think don\'t exist anymore? Just because some are quiet doesn\'t necessarily mean that the guild doesn\'t exist. It is hard to seperate the sleeping from the dead ?(
