I would appreciate if you keep your little war outside of this thread, it doesnt help us in getting our message across.

Perhaps we should endeavor to keep the guild thread a bit cleaner than what has become the usual?

I agree with karyuu. I also don't understand why the guild wouldn't be honoured to have someone support their guild name in their signature. Blah ... sorry for posting this as I know cyl you don't want drama in the thread. I just don't understand I guess and felt I needed to voice it.

I think the Dark Empire is pretty much the only guild which is well organized and well written, which has been around for a while, and which opposes the "good"/self-righteous guilds which have banded together.  If it wasn't around, there would be far less potential for things to turn interesting.  Things aren't so great right now though... one of the core values of the Dark Empire is ambition, but it seems that safety and longevity have become more important.

The Dark Empire's ambition still stands strong but we are careful now.  Many of our members write tests around this time, it has been something I have been worried about for some time now, hence the lack of ambitious movement.  I didn't want us to get into something and then have half our people go afk for a week.

As for the Herleva and Zanzibar thing.  1) Zanzi, please stop mentioning that both Herleva and Setill complained about you.  It was not the only reason you are not longer in the guild.
2)I am glad you still honour us in your sig, I can understand that Herleva wants the disclaimer.

And, more importantly, Xordan: The Dark Empire not only outlived the cabali, but it's Shadow General is the best ex-cabali out there

Actually, it is.  Sangwa told me that his understanding is that I forced Setill and Herleva out of the guild, so therefore I need to leave as well.  I did nothing of the sort.  I was visiting my grandparents from friday to monday, so I was not in-game, and I was only briefly on the forums friday and had no internet after that point.  My private messages with Setill were polite (at my end, anway.  He was not as polite), and the overall message was "What's going on here?"  As far as Herleva goes, her activity speaks for itself and I don't feel I have to say anything else on the matter.  As far as my character being chaotic-evil and the guild being lawful-evil, it was never a problem before and there are reasons for the difference anyway, so I doubt that's it.  As far as my "activities" in the forum, the forum is out of character while guilds are in character.  The Dark Empire is supposed to be a role-playing in-character guild, so I also doubt that the forum was a premise for the disagreement.

You were kicked on many grounds, one of which was annoying guildmembers.  Both Setill and Herleva mentioned you when the told me they were going off to try new stuff.  I also almost lost one of the most promising new recruits because of you.

All in all, you were destroying the reputation of the guild, hindering it's advancement, disturbing guild members.  Hell, you did more for our enemies than you did for us.

You were made aware that there was a possibility you were about to be kicked from the guild a while ago.

The Dark Empire is going through an interesting phase.  The Princess' possible return has put quite a few things into perspective.  Recruitement is up, though the screening period still stands.  The forces are being remade, meaning that two Overlord Positions are up for grabs (Steel and Arcane, you can try to compete with me for Shadow aswell but, well....good luck ).  If you are looking for a guild to join, the Dark Empire may be for you.  If that is so, then now is the time to join.

In order to get in you will have to talk to me (Nurahk ingame), Cyl or Sangwa.  Me and Sangwa are incredibly busy both IRL and with getting the renovations done.

I will post more once we have set up the Steel and Arcane forces.  Shadow Force is nearly completely set up, all we need is more members, if you are one who loves to work in the dark, then I assure you, there is no better place for you than in the Shadow Force.

I haven't done anything to annoy Setill more than he's done to me, I never had any real contact with Herleva, Covirose and Talamir I was on very good terms with, and the rest I never really saw or interacted with.  So I really have no idea what you're talking about.  No one ever said anything to me about it, that's for sure!  If it's been new players giving these reports, maybe they've been playing you?  It wouldn't be the first time that someone made an alt and joined my guild just to mess with me.

Setill said that I should leave because of the arguments I get into on the forums.  That's as OOC as it gets.  As far as you go - you were talking about putting me in charge of the new recruits, so excuse me if I say that something sounds a bit fishy here.  You changed 180 degrees in a very short period of time.

The meaning of your post is a bit hard to understand.  Rather than jumping to false conclusions about what you intended to say, could you say it again with clearer grammar?

I only reply to something if I think there's a reason to.  I wasn't trying to be passive agressive with Herleva.  I sincerely didn't understand what she was trying to say.
