Good to be back, Tharos. Unfortunely (well, fortunely too) I'll be having some big vacations away from the internet, so I won't be around on this summer too much. If anyone in the Dark Empire will be playing this summer and requires any kind of help (permissions, changes in the site, etc) within the Dark Empire, now should be the time to ask for it.

Don't worry Zanzibar, she'll read it eventually.

Anyway, I added our IRC channel on the first post, since some of us can be found there daily. Useful if you want to talk to us to be promoted, to join, share your opinion, etc. See you there.

The dark empire doesn't work that way.  They have a number of longterm, ongoing initiatives and plans.  They aren't vocal about it and they don't flaunt it, which is part of their charm, but they aren't constantly plotting or thinking up of new ideas with the sense of urgency you suggest.

Dark Empire... I sincerely apologize for the following post being in your thread.  None of this really belongs in your thread but since its here I've got to say it. 

Colinb - as of the time of this writing you have made 45 total posts.  You stats also say you have been a member for 1 day.  I am usually the one jumping in to defend newcommers, but in this case I have to simply say, please stop.  I consider all of your posts spam so far.  I looked long and hard for a post where you said something truely meaninful but was unable to locate any whatsoever.  I don't mind a bit of this but it has gone far enough.  Calm yourself down and lay off the caffeine yourself

Time for your lesson:

1.) No one likes random usless spammers.  You make all of Zanzibars posts seem postively awsome and useful, and there have been plenty of times I felt like he was posting just for the sake of posting. 

2.)  When you post, try to be thoughtful.  You are spending your time here so you might as well not be wasting it.  Look for things that interest you and engage in discussions. 

3.)  Trust me you may think you can keep this up forever, and you probably can for a while, but in the end you'll fizzle out if you keep this up.  Calm down, slow down, relax and enjoy the game and the forums.  There is plenty to do besides posting on every thread possible.
