It's a very well organized "guild" for now. It'll fortunely cease to be a guild though, and start to be something more like an Empire. This has been our current orientation; we have gone through many efforts to draw the Dark Empire's structure and essence towards a complete harmony with the Planeshift Setting. Some of these changes were subtle enough to go unoticed.

I believe we're coming up with some pretty good results.

And you can roleplay with us at any time. We keep in character all the time.
I do not plan to create special Events or Quests. Sangwa will give out quests when he feels the need to. As to events, those who strike the imperialists as useful should surely witness an event with the Dark Empire. Like it or not.

I have updated the Guild part of the site.

We are currently thinking on developing entertaining activities that can be preformed everytime imperialists (or friendly commoners) get together.

We'd appreciate help on those and any kind of opinions. We haven't tested any, so if some of you would do it we'd be really thrilled.
We're thinking of developing some of the games into tests (for the imperialists) and contests (with a record of scores and marks.)

Soon we will be starting to create the  subguilds ingame so ambitious people who considered joining the Dark Empire should do so now as with the new subguilds several new positions will be  open for those willing to earn one.

With the successful implementation of the Imperial Guilds, the Empire has been able to grow in both quality and quantity. To compensate such growth, our system has improved to better accommodate the new talents our Empire houses. Following is the list of structural changes brought forth:

• An improved title system, created to regulate leadership within different Forces and Guilds;
• Uniforms & Marks: adapting to Planeshift's concept of Guilds, the Dark Empire tag will no longer appear as a guild tag. The imperialists distinguish themselves now by marks they carry, forged by the Empire and by wearing their uniforms on duty and ceremony;
• Multi-Guild Feature: experimental but with a great potential, this feature will allow those whose talents lie in more than one field to express themselves properly in the Imperial cause.

Some might have noticed that the Empire guild tag no longer exists. This is due to a structural change in this project, as we've implemented a banding system of higher scope. We can be considered an Organization for as far as objective terms are concerned. And a compact Empire within the roleplay.
This seemed to arise some doubt within some peope, hence my doubled attempt at clarifying it.


Other news are that the Empire is currently working upon forming yet another guild, this one with military functions: The Imperial Guard.

If your character is a demanding warrior and looking for new chances at its career, do contact me or apply for the Empire's Steel Force at the Empire's Headquarters. This is a great oppurtunity for those who wish to achieve high titles, as my focus will lean heavily on these warriors' efforts.

At Sangwa's request I'm continuing a discussion here from the Imperial Guard's thread...

Why yes, Hwnae... I am. I would think, however, that you would know better than to challenge my power or opinion.

Its easy to spot an imperial, even though its been a while since I was in there, I still know the requirements to be an imperial, so they stick out quite easily

First Requirement: Be a complete narcissistic ass who thinks their guild is the only good one.

Second Requirement: Love to argue, and complain.

Third Requirement: Be very inactive, and only stay online for limited amounts of time, and 80% of your online time should be spent standing around doing nothing, the rest of the 20% left should be spent loafing on the main PS forums remembering the 'good' days of PS, and trolling other member's posts.

Thats in regard to phinehas' statement. Comments like that annoy me, and provoke me to make such comments about the guild as a whole.

Really sangwa and hwnae are the only DE members I have ever met who don't think they're the best thing since sliced bread... I like that

I barely even know you... and that situation does not induce me to think highly of your opinion... For the rest, Sangwa's right... it smacks of jealousy. I am no great advocate of the Empire... I have no personal love for the organization, only a friendship with one or two of its members... I have been the Archsage, and I have had the entire Empire offered to me if I wanted it... So forgive me if I consider my opinion in this to be slightly more reliable than your own...

As for you, Sangwa my old friend... while I understand the need to portray your guild in a positive light... I suggest a portrayal of perfection that you appear to be attempting might be a tad presumptious...
