I knew Blueprints had to be an oldbie! It's the only way you'd get a proposal for an organization that doesn't have to do with cybering or killing in game these days.

You wrongly assume it has nothing to do with those things. You also wrongly assume that I implied having played PlaneShift before. I admit to know about the history of the Dark Empire, but whether this is in game knowledge, second hand knowledge, or knowledge I gained from reading this thread will remain a mystery.

Sangwa, as far as I can recall you threw a fit, insulted quite a few good people, and quit. After what you have done it's best for the Empire if Parallo runs it on his own.

That was exactly what happened. I wouldn't add the word "good" to it though.

When I say "settle" I mean it in the sense that I'll stick around, not that I'll set my sticky fingers into the whole thing. No, none of that for me. It gets repetitive after a while and I blame it on the almost stagnant human conscience (yes, I blame us all.)
I just came around to see if there was currently anyone playing with the Dark Empire, out of curiosity.

Plus if there's to be a new initiative it'll need the advertisement. And bad advertisement is better than no advertisement here (anyone remembers the Cabal?).

I second that. Ever since Sangwa left the Dark Empire, the guild was only getting better and better.
Some of its successive successes include:

• More opportunities to rise in ranks: no one bothers to run the guild, so you can get promoted to the emperor rank just by presenting a mild interest.
  
• No one even thinks about challenging the DE anymore: by creating an illusion of incompetence, the guild remains safe from any possible rivalry.
  
• DE is no longer a "mainstream" guild: the planeshift guild page doesn't even provide a link to the DE website, unlike what is the case for those sellout organizations...
  
• Becoming the ultimate secret organization: not even its own members realise the guild is still operating.
  

Clearly, the Dark Empire is doing just fine without Sangwa and the aforementioned person's interest in coming back to the organization is nothing but a downright insult to all the remaining imperials. Sangwa, you're such a jerk. Go away.

Guys, this is how it goes.
Nowadays, the Dark Empire is really controlled by non-imperials, who fool the remaining imperials into believing that their guild is no longer active. By this, non-imperials eliminate any remaining imperials, and take absolute control over the guild. Now once there are no imperials left, the following scenario will turn into reality:

Dark Empire is controlled by non-imperials
imperials constitute 0% of the entire community
non-imperials constitute 100% of the entire community

Therefore: Dark Empire contains the entire community.

Do you know what that means? That means total domination, people! Wake up before it's too late!

Problem with playing online is that everyone wants to be a hero. No one plays peons for long. Just can't find good peons these days.

Peons choose to become so, there is a transaction implied in the relationship. Empire requires coin, otherwise you just have conspiracy.
