Time for some updating:

The Dark Empire currently has an active member base rounding 10 members. We've established relations with several Guilds, but none of these relations actually constitutes an Alliance.
We've implemented the Imperial Log and Decrees. These are documents kept in our Guild House that contain information about the Empire's actual structure (ranks, guilds, etc.), diplomacy (alliance, friendly relations, etc.) and membership status (members joined/promoted).

You should tell him to make a guild thread that fully focuses on American politics instead of Planeshift guilds. It'd be a tragedy if people started making guild recruiting/promotion threads in the guilds forum.

I hope my situation improves too, my dad is looking at internet solutions but that won't happen probably till end of Summer... I mean Winter for you northerners. But I have a good feeling about my Ban being lifted. I do believe HaniX said to me when I first got my ban that the whole community wants me banned... I'd beg to differ about that now.

So is the Empire a bit quiet? Where's Roberet, Rinenud, Camazotz, Parralo, Garile, and the rest?

Parallo's hasn't been heard of after his problem with the kidneys... I hope he's okay, it's kinda worrying me. Garile's around, but she's not very Forum friendly. Rinenud is on a vacation and I'm currently having some trouble with school and holidays (damn friends won't settle for a 'no').

Still, we have other great players in-game. Just ask around about the Dark Empire, I'm sure you'll find them.
