If they were from a Planescape game, maybe.. heh.

But trick is, you have to explain why you\'re now as low as everyone else.  Being \"Elite\", aside from sounding like you\'re just bursting in your need to use l33t speak, suggests you\'re the cream of the crop.  Draklar and Kixie and such, sure, -they- could be called Elite... heck, I\'d wonder if anyone without a Ring of the Past or whatever it was should have that title yet (I don\'t have one myself, I gave away all my Crystals before leaving MB for awhile, heh).

And yes, the whole \"Grar, I am a five thousand year old whatchama\" thing is cheesy.  It would be as bad as me pulling in my God Slaying Eternal character from another game.  At least in cliaming his abilities.  But heck, I\'ll probably use an aspect of his personality eventually.  Already playing an aspect of one of his buddies.

The name has been already explained. And as I told this is the first part of
our history. We will write next part which will explain how we came here.
Elite doesn\'t mean only 31337 sp33ch of dumb kids using AOL instant
messenger, and in various communities, including RL ones there are
various elites - depends of observator\'s criteria.

Regards.

Yes, but general rule, being elite requires being, well, elite.  Seperating yourselves from the crowd through skill and experience.  Either way, it speaks of arrogance, particularly when you dub yourselves such.  Expect reactions along the likes in the game itself.

And realistically, do you think the Carpenter\'s Union would have called itself the Carpenter\'s Onion if there was a typo early in its creation?  The same concept would go for your guild.  Breaking the fourth wall isn\'t good RP, and referencing a video game, especially by -title-, is shattering the poor thing when you\'re in a fantasy world of different design.

I personally honestly don\'t care.  I just love explaining things.

Indeed, and it would really help you if you just paid attention to what people are saying, rather than being totally defensive.

What I said about your story was honest criticism, not a desire to flame you. Although, after your response, I do have a desire to flame you, so watch out.

I really dont mind the game migration and full heartedly agree with xordan on this one, however your name is a problem,\"ELite\",i know your attached the name, but its a bit out of the bounds of Planeshift.i\'m not trying to be destrucivley critical, just i beg that you consider a Synonym, perhaps in moving to the new world, you find that the name is a bit to out there and eye catching, so you quickly cange to a more uniform name of meaning perhaps being creative in deriving your name from \"ELite\" like \"Emense layers in the economy\"  :P

my how times have changed.....

Ignoring all the other typos, can I just point out that it\'s spelt \"immense\"?
