monster levels..
« on: February 27, 2005, 04:21:19 pm »
Hi, I was curious about if there is an indicator for what level the monsters are...

My problem or question is I kill tefusangs quite a lot and most of the time I don\'t have difficulties with them,
but sometimes I end up dead even if I was fully healed.
the monster just kills me with 2 or 3 hits...
shouldn\'t the  type of monster tell you if you are able to kill it or not?  (after you tried it)

maybe if there are tougher monsters of one kind they should have maybe a bit of another colour or  a name like \"big tefusang\" to see that it is stronger and give more exp.

it gets quite frustrating to get slapped around by a monster just because you can\'t tell about its level..
It\'s a long way to the tefusangmeadows ;-)

people and monsters arent shown by level, its by the progression points.  currently, there is no way to tell how strong a monster is, you\'ll just have to find out yourself.... >=)

Sometimes the same monsters are stronger then others.like the tefusang in the arena.some of them give 2pp while others give 30pp.just find out which tefusangs you can kill and those you cant.

I used the word Level just because its shorter than progressionpoints ;-)

I actually was just wondering if this happens  on purpose, or is it sort of a bug that the attackstrength of a monster is calculated wrong for some reason...

am I correct that if I attack always the same monster (spawning @ the same place) it will always have the same Level?

not showing the \"level\" of a monster is good I think so you can make your own experience... even if it ends  in walking ;-)

thanks for the answers

no i dont think its a bug.and yes if you stay at the same spawn point the monsters lvl will be the same.
