Mining Skills

...what sort of mining skill do I need to get the lowest possible ore? Can I up my skill by simply mining, or do I need to buy it?

Help appreciated....I read the faqs and searched about mining first, but they didn\'t really mention what the lowest ore was, and what skill level I need to have in mining to be able to get it.

Currently I have 0 skill, bought a few trainings, and tried to mine coal... it told me I didn\'t have enough skill. Is there something I can mine with 0 skill, or a lower ore, or do I have to level up more?

You can mine anything when you buy the skill from harnquist.You need to /train with Harnquist untill the yellow bar turns Green(8 PP\'s and 384 tria).Then off you go to mining area and type /dig [whateverore].You will eventually find something [coal iron gold platinum ] depending where you dig and rank up to next lvl after 12 ore (i think).then back to harnquist for more training.

I have one skill point in mining bought from Harnquist and still I\'m told that I don\'t have the skill to mine.

How many skill points does one need to mine for gold?

You need to /train 8 points with harnquist to start mining type /train and press the buy icon till the yellow mining bar turns GREEN then go mine
