Wich version ?
« on: March 06, 2005, 01:56:58 pm »
Hem... Could some say me wich version of PS are currently running on Mac, PC or linux ?
And if this question has been asked before, could someone give me a link to the answer ?

If i ask this it\'s because i have the 0.3.007 on Mac and the server says it\'s not the good one, and all the people around talk about 0.3.006...
eMac
Mac OS X 10.3.9

they all run the same... you probably just need to run the updater...

I think the Mac\'s current version is 3.0.7 but its not yet compatible with the version on the server.

yeah when you re doing the update you got the 3.007 version but something is wrong in this version and there\'s a prob somewhere so we have to wait for the correct 3.007 version or a working updater

From my observations Macs have 0.3.007.  This was a valid version about a week ago, but since then there has been an update that has not yet been released on Mac.

The version number in the application itself is rarely meaningful - it gets changed every once in a while, but the \"real\" version number (used to identify compatibility between server and client) isn\'t displayed.

That is, you will know when there is a new version available precisely when a bunch of posts and the main page are updated to say \"June 46th, 2007: New version of Mac client\" or whatever.

June!!!  Hopefully it\'ll be sooner than that.  And please tell me it\'s not coming on the 46th of June otherwise that will be one really long wait.  Anyways, thanks for the feedback Dryfer and keep up the excellent volunteer work.
