the server goes linkdead when i am walking around the city, what is the problem?

We are trying to track down a very strange bug in the server that is causing random crashes.  So please bear with us as we try to work out what is wrong.   This is why the server is up and down a lot.

Bleh server fail every time i try to get ingame any idea\'s how long it\'s down for ?? Tried to update but there seems to be no new update.

You can get ingame? It just says server fail for me :]

but no, I do not know how long it will be down for. I just check it when I go past my comp.

Some things to keep in mind about this problem and many other bugs reports.

1. Planeshift is not yet a full, complete game => some things are missing.
2. It\'s only a beta testing of the Alpha release => it can become buggy.
3. Features are added, tested, removed if needed
4. It\'s made by volunteers. => leave them time to look for cures.
5. PS has a great community. =>Look at forums and talk with people when online. Many are ready to help you freely.
6. It\'s free. => Take what works as a gift and find a way to work around bugs.

This being said, there is nothing else to do when the server is down than to wait and check the ping from time to time. (You can use the updater to test server)...
It\'s up right now.
