Problem at login screen
« on: March 09, 2005, 05:34:43 am »
Ok, I\'m not too sure if its somthing I\'m doing wrong or if I\'m missing somkind of componet that planeshift needs to run.

I\'m running Unbuntu Linux and after I type in my user name and password I click on the correct server, and then I click , ok or accept or what ever it says. The button I need to hit to log on, the screens blinks back to my desktop. I\'m pretty sure its not my graphics drivers, I updated them recently.

I was running the pssetup in the terminal instead of just running it. I guess it didn\'t like the terminal. ;)

I\'m running Planeshift on Suse Linux 9.1 . Some hours ago Planeshift was running fine. Now when I try to log in in Laanx server, it keeps saying that I\'m not running the correct version of Planeshift on that server. I\'ve run the updater and still it keeps showing the message. Updater says also that is of an older version than that of the server. Did I forget to do something?

Thank you for your time :)
Too many happy faces, I wonder what that means
Are you personally offended by an iron on your jeans?
Too many happy faces, is that more that you can bear
Is it part of what you should be, lack of hygiene in your hair?

probly because I was angry it wasn\'t working and no one was responding. I was also thinking I initially post in the wrong place.
