The first Grand Hydlaa Tournament is open to everyone in Yliakum!

How to participate: Talk to Naitachal and tell him what weapon will you use (broadsword, axe, claymore, magic, etc...) and your skill
Entrance fee: 50 trias
Winning prize:
  Higher Sections: 100 000 trias/number of sections
  Lower Sections: Glyphs or weapons

No... the entrance fee is minimal on purpose.

Okay to explain the rule a little better.There will be different sections and in each section will be a different price.This way it makes sure that all the powerplayers dont get all the prizes.Depending on your attack dmg is what section you will be placed in.The Grand Prize for the highest section is 12500 trias.The lower section will get 1000 trias and a weapon or glyph(which ever the champion will chose).The lowest section will get only 500 trias.

To qualify for the top section you need to have an attack of 40+ dmg

Lower section you wll need to have and attack 20+ dmg

And the lowest section will be any thing lower then 20 dmg

The enterence fee will be 50 trias.
Hopefully Tmed will be there to monitor the whole tournament.

I\'m glad someone finally got round to something like this. We have this amazing big arena to hold venues, and it never get used like that... such a waste.

But you need to give LOTS more detail on this. One piece of information that springs to mind is when will this take place?  Or will it just be when you have two people ready, they will fight?

The 50 tria is for participating fighters, I assume. Will there be a small entrance fee for spectators to help towards the prizes? I hope it will be aimed to be a big social event, ripe for roleplaying. Where\'s that gambling guild when you need it? Having a fight every so often with hardly everyone watching is boring. Besides, the Plaza can be like that anyway. Making the tournament all at once, and stretching it through an hour or two would be much more fun for everyone involved, I think.

I\'m no fighter, but I would love to come along and cheer on those brave warriors that do enter. But good luck with the tournament!

I know evactly what you mean,but ppl just dont seem to care so far i only have 5 fighters participating,and thats a shame.i mean cmon im practacly giving you the 12500trias.no it wont cost anything for the spectators.im not sure of the time yet, since i need more ppl to participate.

Hey, sure .. why not have a weekly tournament?  Or one day a week or month set aside as \"tournament day\" (a specific time will inevitably be a problem with different time zones)?  I can see it now...*begins to daydream*

All the empty arenas (the ones with no monsters) filled with duellists, thunderous waves of cheers from a packed house in the stands, anxious competitors warming up in the tunnels leading to the arenas...  Kind of like Roman gladiator tournaments.  (\"Christians to be thrown to the trepors!!\"   )  *snaps out of it*

Yeah...like that.    Its really the kind of thing the arena looks to have been designed for.  

I\'m not sure what would be more fun, watching the action or observing a constant flow of losers run through the death realm muttering to themselves.

heh, theres no point, as soon as you get it the big character wipes gonna happen, thats probably why hes even hosting the tournament, because he knows he has no use for the stuff anymore
