In view of the fact that many people here are not native speakers, I thought we could use a word of the day post.  Here\'s one that has come up recently in the forums:

Tharizdun, indeed there was.

I learned to read and write English (my mother tongue) by interacting with actual humans.  Thus, I have a sense of courtesy.  It would be nice to give some of the people here the opportunity to act as if  they were dealing with real people.  Perhaps a novel experience given their manners. For that, they will need some decorum (see above).

I had considered just shouting F U HITLER!  (thanks for the link.  By the way, thanks is sometimes spelled without and \"x\", if you can believe that!).

It\'s not a matter of the sense, but i plain like the pronunciation of this word. Really. Mutter it and feel the pleasure.
I think its sense is something around the act of browsing data.

Harkin: according to my german teacher, you can create a word as long as you want (especially with numbers) by fusioning the name and its complement. The most known longish word is something with a ship captain iirc.

err not sure how it is in portuguese but as seems latin Otorrino refers to ears, nose, and the tube that you have between them and that I dont know the name... anyone knows ?
