No account under that name

Just got the updater to fix my planeshift client so it would not crash. the first time I ran it I replaced the youremail thing with my email, chose a password, and selected the laanx server.. after a brief pause, it said SERVER NOT AVAILIABLE. now I cannot create a new account anymore because anything I enter, including my first choice for an account mentioned above, I get \" no account under that name\" HOW DO I CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT? nothing works!!!!

OK, I used the HTTP page for create new account, verified it with my email, but still cannot log in to the client (NO ACCOUNT UNDER THAT NAME) is there a delay??? argh. I want to play!
