Observance of Spain

I would just like to post this as a place to pay respects to those who died in the train attack in Madrid last year. Although the attack was almost on the same level as 9/11 in the United States, it seems to not gain as much respect as the U.S attacks. I for one hold them as highly as the attacks on the U.S (which I do live in). For some reason the news does not think so, and  has only noted it 3 times in the last 3 hours. I find this saddening, it almost seems that  if more than 1000 people do not die, it isn\'t newsworthy. Anyways, I don\'t want to go off on a rant. I\'m just here to post a thread to remember the people whose lives ended or were changed in less than a full second, without any warning. Thank you.

I think this is one of the moments, that even if we cannot forget, we just have to put behind, deeper and deeper in our minds ...

Three times in the past three hours?  You got lucky, usually I don\'t even hear one word in twenty-four hours.
The key to manipulative bargaining is to ask for something twice as big as what you want, then smile and nod when you are talked down to your original wish. You are still young, my apprentice, and have much to learn in the ways of the force. -UtM

I am quite upset with the US\'s stance on foreign terrorism. It seems like the only country you ever hear about as \"suffering from terrorists\" is Isreal. Yet from my perspective, the only terrorists in that area is the Isrealy government (always blame the government, not the people) itself.

Then, I don\'t know of many specific instances of terrorism in outher countries (I know of Madrid, the embessy bombings in Britain, and a few others), but being Russian I do try to keep myself up to date with Chechnia.

And the stance of the US government on that is just sickening. When I came back to this country in early 2003, I saw a history chanel special about the hostage situation in a Moscow theater that took place in late 2002. I\'m not gona go into a rant about how inacurate the description of what Russians thought of the thing was, but after listening to the thing, I wanted to shove a metal pole up the producers ass, and slowly start heating it while rats bite at his [lalalalalalala].

I would gladly continue complaining about Chechnia... But I gota go.

They should consider building a memorial for all these victems of terrorism.

Q: How many Planeshifters does it take to expalin a simple concept to a newb?
A: Six. Five to argue on who\'s explanation is right, and Moogie to lock the thread.
