Forum Login Timeouts
« on: March 13, 2005, 04:35:24 am »
I\'ve had two long replies completely lost because after spending some time typing them up, I\'ve clicked preview, then had to re-login again because the session had timed out. After logging back in I was viewing the same thread again, my response and everything I typed up was gone.

There is no way to change the timeout in the profile either as far as I can tell.

This is a hassle because I either have to enter something quickly enough that it is not lost, or type up everything in a seperate editor and paste it over when its completed to my satisfaction.

Is there any way this can be corrected?

That\'s probably a error in your browser or connection.

I haven\'t experienced anything like it atleast

Its possible I guess.. for now I\'ll work around it by doing \'preview\' at regular intervals to keep it alive.

Just ctrl+a ctrl+c your post before you click anything.

But I also don\'t have any timeout problems.
