Thread icons

Most forums have different thread icons (the envelope on the left) for threads you\'ve posted in (usually an evelope with a black dot on it). I\'d like to see this here as well.

Not a terrible idea. Thread icons can do alot of good, for instance they can describe the type of issue or debate found within a thread, without too big of a title. EX: One icon could be \"Lag\" Inside you could find someone dealing with the common issue of lagging in game, and asking how he could fix his issue. Another example could be a thread icon reading \"Storywriting\" Inside you would find a post with a story.

These aren\'t needed, but they take only 5-10 minutes to make, and help describe a thread to the user without much confusion. We also have to see users take the responsiblility of using the appropriate thread icon, but I\'m sure that wouldn\'t be too much of a problem.

That\'s not quite what I meant. There are user specified icons on the left of the thread title, and there are other thread icons to the left of those that show the state of the thread, all of which are envelopes. Open envelopes mean you have viewed that thread, red envelopes indicate a hot topic (usually 15-30 or more replies), envelopes with a lock indicate a closed thread, and envelopes with a dot indicate a thread you have posted in. We don\'t seem to have the latter two implemented. Note: these are usually combined for mixed states, such as an open envelope with a dot and a lock would mean a closed thread you have posted in and viewed since last change.

I know, I was just listing more improvements that might be added to the current forum that are thread icons. Sorry if you think my post took away from the current topic.
