I am happy to announce that I (Lorye) will be marring Nosredna Trebor :), April 10 at 5 am GMT, out side the magic shop. This is a public wedding so everyone is welcome to come.  After the wedding a reception will be held in the Tavarn for all that would like to come.

This is Ylaikum my dear Queen. Who says we have to follow the worn out traditions of real life. I say we let the participants exchange wedding vows/rings/circlets or *looks at Enkies* daggers on their own. Leave religon out of it. It\'s going to get a little complicated trying to figure out if the blessing should come from Talad or Laanx.

Lets just start things like this: \"Under the light and power of the Azure Sun, I \"
Unless it\'s a silent ceremony.

That being said, I wish the best to you from the bottom of...er...both of my characters\' hearts. The Sheeple Foundation blesses this union. *then runs away, as they are afraid of weddings*

Wow, congratulations to the two of you and warmest wishes of happiness! :]

Quwaar, this won\'t be the first couple. The very first couple to be married in Crystal Blue was Sabrewulf and Dameon Casivair, it was on January 5th ;)

Under the moon, it would be sad to leave out that part, don\'t you think?

It is tradition in Yliakum, at least amongst players, to have a priest perform the ceremony. Gronomist has done it a few times, I\'ve done it also. This goes way back to the youngest days of Molecular Blue.

Lorye and Nosredna: I hope you\'ll be eternally happy together. :)

Ah...well, I guess you can\'t fight tradition. (no sarcasm intended) But it would be nice to start a few new traditions that are totally original to Ylaikum. Different ceremonies for different races or worships? They had to have brought something of their past through the portals. I have already have a different style in mind for my own character (Aeden, not Arnigus) that he brings from his own past.

Just my two trias. Ignore the babbling idiot. ;)

*typos, I am an idiot :) *

Well, just for your information, changing names without some official character/person/thing attending the ceremony might be difficult, because GMs aren\'t allowed to change people\'s names, even though people want them to. So you can\'t just walk up to someone and say \"HAY im is marred to him so GIMME HIMS NAEM PLZ!!!okethx\". That wont work. :)

Point taken, my Queen. Due to the limitations of the game, you are absolutely correct. \'Joinings\' do need some sort of overseer. And let me congratulate you on you excellent N00b dialect. :)

Again, well wishes. And I shall be silent from now on...Well, maybe...we still must discus such things as marriage licenses, multi religion households, and *looks at Nosredna* alimony. ;) But, different thread, different time.
