Great work on the first edition, we are in for quite a treat if this is the standard we can expect from future editions! I had never noticed the ghostly denizens of the tavern before, I wonder what the story of that is.. perhaps its built on an old Ylian burial ground, or they are the remnants of Stonebreakers that have perished in huge vats of ale located deep in the ancient cellars, hmm..

Um I would not go comparing planeshift to runescape-the scape. the scape may not have great graphics but the game play is very good.

Now tell me this if the scape was so bad why they get 80,000 to 90,000 peoples a day playing it!


Now maybe in about 6 years or so you can say planeshift is better. BUT right now it is NOT.

And only dumb asses go on graphics when rating a game! The only thing you should go on when rating a game is the game play and nothing ells.


Saying such bold things dose not make me think very high of you!


And to add. I do not like your news storys. All you are doing is putting down other games. Now how is that a news story?

Actually Adyna pointed on graphics since it is additional good attribute of
Planeshift. Graphics affects your imagination, it is nothing bad to prefer
the game with the nice graphics above one that has poor graphics, this is
why a child will surely grab a book with a nice pictures on it than a fat,
grey volume of \"Quantum Physics\". Everyone has his own criteria and
there is no need to start the flame war I think.

But it is true? the scape may have bad graphics but the game play is good. And all round it IS a good game.

I wrote the main article and I don\'t like Runescape and yes I have played it.  If you think differently then write a good report and it will go in the next issue.  Maybe a good story based on how PlaneScape can become better by adopting this from Runescape and that from Runescape - I\'m sure you get my drift.

Also, I have to agree with Soulless_Body. At the time being, RS has much more features and makes a better game than Planeshift.
Also, points for Planeshift are pretty dubious - hundreds of spells? Ability to build houses? Have I missed something?

IMO, it\'s favouritism...
If you don\'t want to make a tabloid out of it, improvement is needed.

You read any news report or magazine article and you are reading someone elses point of view, which could also be called favouritism.  Which is why I am trying to encourage players of PlaneShift to write articles for The PlaneShift Times.

IMO constructrive critisism is helpful but just complaining about it for the sake of complaining is not.
