Picking Race

When I select a race, a window pops up saying \"Error 000000; [something something] C00000\" or something like that (I took a screen shot, but the words are too small to read...).
I click \"OK,\" and try again, and then the client closes with another message.
I have tried a few times, but it does the same thing.

I think the server is offline (I clicked a link from an old thread and it said offline), but I don\'t think that is the problem.

Any suggestions to fix it?

Oh, sorry if there are threads like this, but I looked through 3 pages of threads, none of which had the same problem.

Delete PS and re install and run the updater a couple times then hopefully you will  be ok.

Okay I deleted it, redownloaded it, and when I try to run the updater, it crashes.

Try to open DOS or command line console and run the updater with the option: --auto
C:\\something\\something\\planeshift\\updater.exe --auto
