Yeah. The PSP is out. The long awaited PSP has had countless myths, legions of U.S fans BEFORE it\'s U.S release has even been made, and is one of the contenders for most revolutionary hardware.

So what do you think? Is the PSP going to live up to the hype? For all you hardware nerds, what issues do you think are going to come up? It\'d be hilarious if they had a recall on an issue like the Xbox had with the \"smelly fumes\" that were coming from some of the models.

Oh and btw, if you don\'t know who Richard Roth is, he was the first person to purchase a PSP (on it\'s public initial release of course, this isn\'t counting the thousands who pre-ordered it). He waited 40 hours for a stupid box. What an idiot. I hope he gets jumped when he walks outside for the first time in 3 weeks after playing PSP for so long.  :]

things like this one are funny once things like this one always happen and always will happen, example: I remember that here in Portugal when the PS2 were released guys waited for her for 3 days, slepping in the front of the store, and the same thing happened last year when happened the final of the Champions League..

If they really like to camp i think its better for they do it somewere else...

I played around with my friends todays. The screen is huge which makes it very brittle. WARNING: drop a psp onto cement from anything above 2 feet and your psp is as good as gone.
The graphics are great though. And it comes with spiderman 2, thats a cool thing to add to it :)
But, I wouldn\'t buy it. Its a good portable media center but it doesn\'t function well with the main purpose, playing games. Its weird playing a 3d game with a d pad (which is why i love nintendos touch idea). And the 4 hour battery life is pathetic. The only reason i would want a portable game system is to use it on a road trip but since the psp runs out of batteries within 4 hours its totally useless for road trips. Secondly, nintendo is still the king of portable game systems. You may see some games switch to the psp for compatability, but, the psp will still be generally stuck with the second rate games except a few good ones like metal gear. And gta sucks so dont say its good. I can go into depth why gta sucks but id rather not because thats not the subject.

Bottem line, I only reccomend the psp for die hard sony fans (which sony severly lacks ;)) and for people who may want to watch movies on the psp a lot.

anyone remember the sega game gear? that was ahead of its time, better quality then any other hand held console up until the release of this ... thing.
6 aa batteries to power it :D

twas a good size for your hands, colour screen aswell! still got mine, it rocks!

Um.. if that was a burn, it wasnt very good. If your saying his face sucks, then your saying the game sucks. Or, if your saying the game doesnt suck, then your saying that neither does his face. :D sorry to burst your bubble.

But i dont really like Sony, ive been with nintendos since i was just a little tot w/ my bro playin mario! w00t!
PSP was pretty slick, but ive heard it can die easy. Batts and being destroyed. Looked a little flimsy, and the screen was huge so like Efflixi said, its gonna break easier. Nintendo is smart enough to make it flip open :D. Im just gonna completely agree with efflixi on this one.. once again.
