Newb comments.. questions..

I\'ve connected to the server several times.  it\'s always empty.

Is there anything to do besides wander around that single map?

I\'ve never played any MMORPG before in my life.  the idea is interesting though, and I know people that have.

I know how to make levels for all Half-Life games, and I notice people use WorldCraft/Hammer to make levels for CrystalSpace.  is there a possibility you guys are still using WC/Hammer for PlaneShift levels too?

Hey, welcome to the Planeshift community. Well, you have to understand that the game is in it\'s VERY EARLY stages... the alpha stage. Meaning, yes, all you can do is walk around in the world and chat. But since it is so early development they still wanted to give you a taste of the game and graphics. :-)

Yeah this pre-alpha release of theirs is rather unique, but it\'s so cool!
They let us play around like this, even though we can\'t do anything yet it kinda rules that they put this version out for download so we could play around, chat and explore, I haven\'t seen anybody else release a version this early

About you never tried an mmorpg yet,
I feel sorry for you, it\'s a unique experience, you should look forward to the next release of planeshift so you get to try one out

Unique, but rather slow, even for those with a high end system. Anywho, welcome to the PS community, i hope ya like it here.

i agree!!!!  

although i\'ve stil not played it yet, i still think its really great their doing this for us
