Since you couldn\'t use BitTorrent to download, it seems that there is some extremely restrictive firewall somewhere between you and the internet, not necessarily (or exclusively) on your local computer.
You are not, by any chance, connected through some sort of (semi-)public network as found, for example, at schools or at work? These tend to block any sort of traffic that isn\'t strictly required for the purpose of the networks existance, and if you don\'t have access to all the firewalls and routers, there is no way of poking through.

Also, some ISPs are blocking ports or entire protols (UDP, in this case), so you might try to contact your ISP to see if they will allow the connection and if not, you need to switch ISPs.

Oh you havnt even downloaded the game.. well in that case.. make sure you have no firewall, try downloading from your house and not a school or public area. They tend to be restricted. On top of that, if the bittorent isint successful for you as it wasnt for me, you might wana try downloading DAP (download accelerator) and downloading from the link on the site. You should be done in about 1 hr and 30 mins on a DSL hookup. Hope iv helped.

Windows ME??? Eeeeeeuuuuggggghhhhh! Actually, I\'m surprised it\'s working, my ME PC died after only 2 years of light use X(  Do yourself a favour and download Mandrake or SUSE Linux.

They are probably just updating the servers or something, hang tight  :]

Ye, Gopnit, perhaps you would be better off closing all other programs + taking off the sound. It\'ll help the loading times.
