Enough Is Enough

Ok great April Fools joke guys but can we now mutate back to our original characters please.  Most people choose a char because they like it, so why should we be happy being something else?  But before I go down in flames can I say that - yes I had a good laugh about it yesterday and \'played\' along.  But now I don\'t find it funny anymore - in fact it has prevented me from logging on to PlaneShift today.

Another thing I noticed is that the roleplaying you guys try so hard to enforce is almost missing because of this.

So please can we get back to normal as soon as possible?

I found it funny and am still having fun with my little monster :). I suppose they should change us all back now (even though either way I wouldn\'t care) but I don\'t think you needed a thread to tell them to.

I agree with Adyna completely .. it was fun for a bit but it hurting and limiting roleplaying. You can\'t even see who \'s holding a weapon and who isn\'t anymore.

It\'s hard to express the shear frustration and annoyance this \"April Fools\" joke was to me. I just start playing this game seeing that my dwarf is a overlarge monster of some kind that can\'t even get through the gates to get outside or get into the sewers that everyone tells me to go to level. In addition when I actually died, I couldn\'t get out of \"Hell\" because I was too big....

Inconvenience anyone? Hell yes!

Well, that was great experience being a dragon/carkass and fly over the
plaza, but indeed, I got a little fed with this today. Well, the reason why Adyna
is so upset is here along with other nice screenshots made yesterday. ;)

This is an event. I\'m going to get married as a Gobble! What do you think of this?! Actually I\'m trying to have some fun with it. Do the same Adyna, try to have fun :)

lol, poor Phinehas, you know he might be a rat, but he\'s fast, and rats have loads of desiases, so he bites you and you die :P


EDIT: Yes the worse of all this is for the dwarves, hope the devs change them to another monster that can actually fit though the doors... btw, if you get to the Death Realm type \"/spawn\" to get out of there.

Well this \"update\" is a bit of a hinderance and annoyance.  I originally picked out the Hammerwielder Dwarf because I like Dwarves, fun to play as in games, now I\'m a Tefu for some God awful reason that I don\'t think anybody clearly gets as alot of us are still thinking this was a cruel (although in the beginning slightly amusing) joke.  So could a Dev or GM please point to whether this is still a joke or an actual \"event\" to be kept?  I also know a couple people who are angry enough at the Devs for this continuation that they\'ve gone to other games.

Tefus suck because they\'re too big, I cant get out of the gate to go mine or to the other town.  I also can\'t get down one sewer entrance, but luckily I can get down the other.  Also Arena access is restricted somewhat as I can\'t get through doors.  So I propose this for the Devs 1)Say this was all just a cruel joke left going too long, or 2) Make Doors Wider.  Thank you.

Sure it was funny, and though it\'s a bit of a problem for roleplaying I dont mind that much, but if some people are bothered, I suppose it should be restored quickly ...

well for the five minutes i thought it was real i was \"Screw Planeshft.. at least more room in my link folder without it and one less game to follow :/\" then it hit me (sleeping at night screws with my knowing what DAY it is.. i know the TIME very well though)

Still havent logged in at all as i didnt feel like messing with it XD

Also i agree.. high time this winds down to a close (and yes it was funny but not very fun )

logged in after the 1st saw what i am and thought it was cool, if you truly like to rolplay I think it gives you somthing new to try and mess with although we cant see weapons it just adds more fun and chaos to the game. And its clearly not a joke and part of the game what difference does it make have fun and keep rp
