Thought I would say Hi

Hi there one and all.

Just discovered PlaneShift while looking around for MMORPGs and thought I would give it a try.  Im obviously new to the game but been playing the genre for years.

Interesting in peoples views really, pros, cons and the game in general.  I know its free and has it fair share of bugs (from what ive seen on the forums so far), but then again what game doesnt have bugs ??

Maybe see some of you ingame soon, im d/l atm via bit torrent.

Hi. Welcome to PlaneShift world.  I think one of our biggest pros at the moment is that we are fairly dynamic in the direction of the game.  We only have a few preset design ideas and are open to the community on how these systems should develop.  This can also be considered a con in some cases because there is not a strict plan that is followed.

We also want to give the community a good chance to be able to create loads of content and quests and such. That way the game will never be stale because people are always adding new stuff.  But we have to develop those tools more.  

In all, it\'s just a fun project for me to work on and I am glad if people can find some small enjoyment in it. :)

You will have to run the updater after the DL. If you have problems, there are some good solutions in the \'problem\' forums. Good luck, and have a great time. :)

It might help you to understand that many feel the game is aimed primarily at role play.

Greetings friend, I welcome thee to this mysterious and wonderful realm.  Many have travelled here and many remain.  True the cities construction funds need some boosting and true random magical happenings are know to happen for less reason than a Kran would to eat meat.  But friends here, do abound, and the pottential that is possible is greater still.

Good luck in your ventures, and here is some fresh milk for your travels if your tastes follow those of the Enki :)

Does anyone else notice that the second a \"hello\" thread comes the peopl egreeting the person help them with problems the person hasn\'t had or caused yet?  :P

i think everyones just used to answering the same questions that they know what the person is already gunna have trouble with =P

Hey i am new here as well, i just downloaded the client and i am going to get into the beta in this game and do what i can. i have and some i still beta test. here are the following.
