Hmm... I\'d do something about the mouth. It looks like a wedge cut out of cheese. Give it some shape, and a discernable jawline.

I\'ll see what I can do about the jaw and center of balance. The tail is much bigger and solid than it looks, making it heavier, though I was thinking about extending it a bit. Here\'s the 3D dump. You can see the balance isn\'t so bad from these angles.

Very nice.  Coming along great.  I imagine when riding this thing the arms will be moving a bit giving it some extra flavor.
Now one of the problems is the head.  Try to give it more detail, maybe fool around with some spikes, put it on it\'s head little studs or something like that.  Maybe widen the jaw, make it stand out more.  Add nostrils, unless it ruins the idea of centepede resemblence..  But this looks like a mix between centepede and dragonic race of some sort so nostrils would probably work, imagine if green poisonous clouds would sorround it at times (like when it\'s angry). And finally, the teeth need detail.

Here are the final incarnations of my Nantherei creature. I did a bit of rigging, but lost it all after taking one experimental pose due to gremlins in the box. I don\'t think I will do any more updates on it. They will be written about extensively in my story, though.

but as others said the eyes need to be round, but may i rig it and post an animation? i would love to see this running around a grassy hill or a damp forest( grass is easy with python, but forests are tons of modelled trees so i guess that wont work)

I want one!  Heh, Uloim would go flying off one of those...

It almost reminds me of a creature from a certain other game, but yours is much cooler.  

Although, the creature is bird-like and yours is an insect.  I really like it, PS should have a fast moving land creature to ride on, some people may be scared of flying!

Keep up the good work, UTM!  Something like this really needs to be ingame someday.

EDIT:  I\'d like to see some reins as well, maybe they could be attached to the red things on its head.
