Darn, I wish it weren\'t the end of a semester when I\'m taking like five classes with teachers that don\'t care if I\'m taking five classes. :p
Stupid schoolwork...at least maybe this work will one day make me good enough to work on the PlaneShift dev team *gets starry-eyed*

Ahem, so when is the last day for entries?  I might be able to do it if I get done my work in time.

The festival is tomorrow Indi so technically today would be the last day for entering but you don\'t have to enter in advance for everything .. just be there tomorrow ;)

I would love to download it but at 1.01kb per seconds it hardly seems worth it (approx 7 hours downloading).  Has anyone already downloaded it and got a faster link?  I would be eternally grateful.

There is a linux version.  The zip file includes both a windows and linux installer script, and the linux installer script is far more polished.

Is it for Mac? I really want to be there but I have a Mac and it doesn\'t look like the patch is for Mac. Anywayz, get another mirror. 1kb/s is horrible!!!!!!

Hmmm, downstream for me is about 18kbs not awsome but alright.  I wonder why it is so slow.

As for mac version, its easy enough to copy the files into their respective locations manually.

Also, this patch isn\'t necessary for anyone to attend the festival. It just adds some graphics ands such.  Mostly posters advertising it and such, but also puts new banners in the Arena.  

Even at one K, it should only take about 4 hours to download at maximum I\'d think :\'(

If anyone gets it finished downloading and can mirror it for others please do.

This is the first of what may be more gfx updates for further festivals.

This is a proof-of-concept, just to see if it is feasible and to see if people like it.

Also technically its not really a patch its more a MOD, but I called it a patch so I would feel cooler.   It is nothing official, just a  neatish mod to help the town look like it has been preparing for a festival.

If anyone gets it downloaded and can post a faster link I\'d be grateful too.  Its not a big deal, but if it works out well, then I\'ll continue with the project for future festivals. I\'ll try to get myself ftp access setup  with Lishom the URPS and SOR Site manager to our site to prevent this from taking place in the future.
