Wild cats are an invasive species, and dangerous. Believe me, growing up on a farm, I know.

I like cats, don\'t get me wrong, even have one, but there are too many feral ones out there. They arn\'t so cute half starved, sick, or with rabies.

Sure, we could send them all to the pound, but that has the same ending. Its the cycle of kitties. They\'re going to end up cotton candy either way.

Meh I think that law would be great, not high on killing things but there comes a point and time when you have to take action against the rising forces of stray animals on the streets whether it is putting them down or finding a way to stop mating or having them adopted.

Instead of doing the smart thing and getting your pets spayed, we\'ll just shoot them. Go humanity :P

No, but I\'m behind this I guess. Feral cats are bad. But it\'s about time we learn from these things before we have to start such extreme measures for such a small cause.

Spay your damn cats, or don\'t have any. Is that so hard?

Kixie even if people started doing that it would take years and years to finally stop the population of strays, so many out there already.

Well what happens if MY cat gets lost loses its collar (or some mid-west mormon gun nut doesnt even look and shoots anyway) and gets shot? I mean there is some time in-between hunting seasns when the IQ < 50 people need something to do with their guns and :/ i just see lots of peoples lost cats ending up dead

But flip side feral cats are very dangerous.. again how do you tell between my cat who is a little wet and dirty trying to get home and a wet, dirty rabid cat trying to kill things?

Pffft...Drak, you know very well we already do that. (scary part is, they probably do in some parts of the world)

Back to the cat thing...I\'m sure they will think of something to try to keep domestic cats safe. Untill then, we\'ll just have to make sure Moogie keeps her collar on. ;)  :D

*edit* And the IQ <50 people live in the red states. Wisconsin -proudly- is a blue. :]

Yeah wisconsin is blue :D i just meant if it goes nationwide (those red states arent very bright :P also approx. 80% of hunters {ive met} are totaly callused about animals they dont care unless its about the \"thrill of the hunt\" AKA killing anything they can... hence id never let my cats be outside cats)

*chases moogie* Dammit Moogie!!! its for your own good.. put the collar on!
