Well I dont know if this is caused from your computer (you didnt specify your comp specs) or if its just a bug in the client, or what not. Anyway, you can always try installing, updating, then running. (Try keeping it in windowed mode with no sound... tends to cause less problems). Also, close all other programs that tend to make the computer slower while they are on. Hope some of that can fix your problem.
