the dead world sucks
« on: April 17, 2005, 11:16:19 pm »
I just sarted planeshift the other day and i died for the first time and went to a different world, i found out to day that that world was called the\"Dead World\" and it really sucks i died like three times trying to get out of the dead world, i think its just a waste of load time, game space, and memory

the thing that would really piss me off would be if they put it in the feature release. but i admit its better than everquests idea of the \"Soul Shard Return\" quest, but i think for this game to be truly revolutionary they need to come up with another idea, one that doesnt waste time

It isn\'t meant to be easy to get out you know... Just don\'t die.

It\'s called the Death Realm, you fool.

And read more information on it, because it is not going to be useless.

But you\'re not going to listen to me anyways.  SO WHY AM I TYPING.

I need a damn nap.

EDIT: whoa whoa WHOA, grono changed names?  Don\'t do that to me!

However, after you\'ve escaped once, it is pretty easy in the future...

Perhaps an idea for future, future releases (it\'s not immediately important, it serves the function of postponing your respawn enough to make it so you actually don\'t want to die) would be to have some variation or challenge before you can return to life. I don\'t really know what you\'d do - but even just having 10 different paths to the exit, and you get spawned at the end of a random one would add some variation.
\"Hold! Do you not want to know the name of the man you are about to destroy?\"
\"I do not need to know the name of a Sweeper.\"
\"It\'s always wise to know the name of a Sweeper, boy. And my question was not Addressed to you...\"

Yes, it\'s planned for something like that.

you\'ll get used to getting out.  Most players can simply run through it(well atleast until stamina drains). Do dont wotty too much.

         P.S:
Plz refrain from bad language. LOL

Or perhaps you wont ever leave the death realm. If it goes according to the revealed plan, death realm will become big enough to count as a parallel world. A place where the character can \"live\".

Stop crying about it. Suck it up, and work your way out. It might take a whole minut or so but if you don\'t have the patience for that, go away.  CB has been out for almost 5 months now and the death realm hasn\'t been changed to make death an easyer thing to go through and a comment from any single player saying somthing as immature as \"The death world sucks\" isn\'t going to change anything.

Edit: and this was not directed to only one person, it\'s built up rage from people shouting in anger flaming ps and stuff whenever im in the dr.

I have a question that\'s slightly on topic...did the death realm change?  I never had any problem with it, but that was like a long time ago.

You\'re only a newb for a few days, then after that you\'re a normal player. All newbs to new games have learning curves. What\'s the burden you\'re worried about exactly?

I really don?t get how hard it is?just follow the path. If you can t get around the \'swirly\' part with out falling off then take it 1 step at a time. ;)

And yes it is going to be added on to...once the devs work out a way to get rid of all those pesky bugs :D

Nope, it didn\'t change. :) It\'s still a one minute walk to the exit.
