It is to bad there are so few members and so inactive ones

it surely is :(

But for some reason not alot of ppl want to go into a rangers guild

I think it might change when the ranged weapons are implemented, anyway i\'ll find a way to get a few ;)

If only I was willing to join another guild

I think many members has this thought ;)

...and considering how many knight guilds there are (including the one I\'m in) I don\'t see anything wrong with there being more than one Ranger guild.

Well the last we need is another Knight guild, but since \"The Rangers guild\" is disbanded I think we are now the only Ranger guild... but this is only what I know :S

Well thanks to the three former members/leaders of \"The Rangers guild\" (Monketh, Quwaar and Lhoran) and thanks Aiselyn. We/I :P appreciate it :D

Well, I understand a Blacksmith guild or a Shoemaker one, but I doubt rangers would want such a name or one at all. It\'s a misterious thing, would they even call themselves as a \"ranger\"?

No members? Just hold on, everyone has this problem, but as a ranger, you should have high endurance. :P

Hmmm... a new Rangers guild... Hmm...

*starts clapping*

Bravo, bravo! Excellent work. It brings joy to me to see such a worthy individual starting a new guild that is so well thought through. Once again, bravo! I wish you the best of luck, from the bottom of my heart.

(If anyone ever holds it against me that I was nice in a post, I will burn you to a crisp, and sell you to restaurants.)

Actually, I\'m less concerned that he spelt \"general\" as \"generel\", than I am that you didn\'t capitalize my name. ;)

I do not really find it unusual that a ranger would call himself a ranger ;) just remember the LOTR movies/books. The rangers of Dunedar or something like that :)

But still many tends to see rangers as ones who protects the woods, I see them as travellers - who are trained in all manners of skills regarding survival in the wild. Or perhaps hunters, trained in the use of ranged weapons and masters of tracking their prey :) Yet as I said before: even though protecting nature isn\'t one of our goals, we are children of it and are prepared to defend it anytime with our lives.
This is how I imagine the Rangers, and well back to my point, it is really not that unusual that they would call themselves rangers ;)

EDIT: thanks Phinehas for the high praise, well I am not quite alone about it as I said before - Gil is rather inactive but he helped with alot like... like... seems I have forgotten

Indeed. Too many people think of \"Ranger\" as a class these days. However, in RP \"reality\" a ranger would simply be a wanderer.

Good luck with the guild, all seems well :)

Except

The site, its been loading on my work machine for about 10 minutes on a T1 connection.  It says resolving host sourceforge.net but thats all. It did eventually load while I was in the bathroom.  :8

Took forever though - any idea why?\\

Site looks ok though once it loads, it just takes forever. Maybe I\'m the only one?

Just something to consider is all. :)

Move the forum! I\'m sure nobody likes ads. :P

Induane, this site has nothing to do with sf, it\'s on freewebs. It wasn\'t down a second ago, but now... :s

Well I just redid the site a few hours ago not sure if that was the problem - and yeah I have heard some bad things about Freewebs but I use it anyway...
