Just thought I\'d bring this to everyones attention and maybe get it answered by a dev but just about 5 minutes ago i was creating a new Ynnwn based character and face 2 was avaible. I was physched and decided to check the other races to see what else was new but only the stonehammer had arrows on the face as well. Then i decided to just stick with the Ynnwn race but i coulnt select it for about 30 seconds and when i finally did only face 1 was there again. Little strange but i\'d like to say i love the tatoo dealie on the face thats pretty killer.

EDIT: and now that i try to actually create the character under a Ynnwn race at the end it says that i didnt select a race and it cannot be created.....

We are in the process of setting up customization a bit more.  The first test is to have different faces.  When we get a good set of data for that we will publish to the server and update the client for it.  If you want I can find some screen shots of different faces.  Mostly drawn by yours truly. :)

well done, can\'t wait for different faces and skins. Just wondering, in character customisation, is the primary issue to distinguish between male and female in all the races?

Yeah I have to say after a bit of frustration and restarting the client I finally got that second Ynnwn face and I\'m definantly looking forward to see what else you\'ve got in store for us. Now as a time frame are we looking at days, weeks, months? I know you cant set a date but i\'m pretty anxious to see these other faces.

Oh, neat!  I remember in MB when the female Enkidukai had several fur patterns.  Will any of those be re-used, or is the new system totally different and you\'re going for new ones?

/me hopes there will be enkif textures with white fur

I like the tattoo and the horns!

Other ideas for other \"faces\" and skins:
different \"gems\" for Krans to be, right now they look like blue diamonds with high quality amethysts embeded in them here and there. I would like to see saphires, maybe \"fire opals\", moonstones, etc.

Different kinds of cats for the cat race like white and orange tigers, lions (male with THICK luxurious mane of hair, female with no mane of course), various leopards, Lynx (tufts of hair at the ears and interesting coloring).

Different colors of scales for the winged race, as I recall they are light blue now, how about a darker blue option, or green, maybe red.

NO rush on any of this...just when you get around to it.

I think it would be nice to be able to change our faces with our already created characters.  Unless of course the wipe happends before it....

Yep, its great, and I definatley like the ability to customize chars.  Keep up all the good work.  I also notice you like the plastik theme. :) I used it for quite some time as well, though I couldn\'t anymore when I switched to WindowMaker.

Also I don\'t know if this is the place to bring it up, but what about customizing the client itself?  Are there any plans to have different gui\'s available?

I ask because I\'ve been making one.  Some of it needs redone, and the like but I\'d say its 65% done.  I\'ve drawn new:

Character selection screen, Login screen, splash screen, loading screen, chat box, shortcut box, buddy list box, info box, magic casting progress box,

and have modified to match the color theme:

All buttons for the top bar of buttons, the buttons on the shortcut bar, and the attack stance buttons.  

I\'m working on more as well.  It is a winter theme, with things drawn in cool shades of blues.

Currently I have no programming knowledge, so I added to the psclient startup script to give me gui option, original or winter theme.  Is this something that has been considered?
