in Talad\'s depression and Dismay of utterly ruining the relationship between him and Laanx he feels he does not desrve to overlook such a creation and aims to destroy it all,
but with the ample persuasion and suggestion form his underling Demi-gods that work between him and the people of the realm, decides to replace what he destroys with anew fresh start, persuing to be a better God

that would cover, skill loss, money loss, name loss, player loss etc. :D

buuuut, you would have to consult Talad on this i guess, it IS a big story ;) why not give him a PM in irc Adyna :)

You could say that the disaperance of Ojaveda and the road to it was a warning that we have enraged the gods and that the Yliakum ios now crumbling. Then Laanx decides that wasn\'t a good idea and starts it anew.

I just remembered that I wrote this ->The Sixth Epoch

You could use and change it, or I could modify it to your liking. Or I could write something completely different.

*edit* And finish it when the time is right.

@DF> Come now, have a little fun with this. The \'Wipe\' is a once (they hope) in PS occurrence. Of course it should be RPed. Rumors of something dark coming, the end of days, no power to stop it. That sounds like the best RP I\'ve heard in quite a while.

I see little need to RP the wipe - the only thing that really \"exists\" are the characters you have created, and they can be re-created just as easily, as if nothing had ever happened.  Just my opinion, though, you\'re free to make of it what you want :)

people are just having fun. I think it\'s fun turning real life game related events into rp events. Like the ojaveda road thing or like the darkness bug. I do rp some updates, when the armorer near the exit from hydlaa began selling armor, i rp-ed by saying he got a shipment of new armor or something like that.

by turning such events you get an interesting yliakum history sometimes more interesting then you would by making things up. As they say life is stranger than fiction ;)

There is a little difference between the regular updates and the wipe don\'t you think?

But sure I look forward to readin Adyna\'s (or whoever it is that writes it) story, explaining the wipe - after all PS is encouraging RP is it not? ;)

\"There is a little difference between the regular updates and the wipe don\'t you think? \"

Do you expect me to agree?...
I don\'t think there is a difference. I mean, the player gets his memory wiped, a new moster appears here and there. Its all the same.

Edit - When is this wipe happening, I can\'t wait anymore.

I quite agree, it is a golden opportunity to add something really big to our \'unofficial history\'.  To just ignore it and pretend it never happened would be just ludicrous.

It\'s for the PS Times [right Adyna?], so there\'s the need of RPing it :P

Till now Kwip\'s idea seemed the best, in my opinion.

Or group of  mage-scientists made a clock that is able to change time to their liking and in a testing they were making they changed the time to the bigining. The scientists had some devices to keep the memory, but by reseting the time to a date the stuff that didn\'t yet happen (like learning skills and all that) they don\'t have it yet.
Many \"Time resets\" may have happened without we taking notice of it.

I like the solution that Star Trek uses for any story thread or time line incongruity...spacial anomoly. Think about it, the planet is traveling through space, hits a time rift and POP...we are all back to the start of our lives...with nothing (since we never went out and got anything to begin with...in this time line anyway).

Yes, the gods got mad at us, a plague raged...whatever...or the rats finally got their time in the lime light and we got our come upance.

I think the wrath of the gods/plague thing sound most probable in midevil setting.  Since a plague would not really kill player/testers...we would just be reborn (remade after the wipe) without anything to call our own.

The time changing clock is the best I think :P It\'s my idea :D

Anyway, the clock survives the time resets, so if the devs need to make another wipe we could use the clock again :P

Adyna hurry with the issue!!!

Oh, btw nice website skin :D it\'s much better now :)
