Guild wars, anyone have it?

THat\'s true, and my friend is gonna be dissapointed with me.
I\'ll prob. get GW. But is it actually fun? Like to be who you are. Can you role-play, or does everyone look generally the same?

No one looks the same. If you mean with characters...no . You can decide how you wanna look . You can change face hair colour,length blablabla . In-game you can change the colour of your  armor and swords by using dye\'s . You can combine the dye\'s to unlock new colours . You can put the dye on the armor or sword and it will change colour.

I haven\'t roleplayed yet in GW .Well not as how i would roleplay in planeshift . And you gotta remember , GW is not WoW or any other mmorpg . Gw is an mmo at its own kind . There\'s no other mmo like GW . Maybe you like it , maybe you won\'t .

According to my firend, if I don\'t get WoW, my ass is grass. But then, I did promise to him I would get WoW. But on the other had..., screw my firend.

i got GW but dont really like it...payed money for nothing....i just dont think its that good...the PVP is good though but thats all

Well, because of him, and solely him, i ended up purchasing WoW. Too late, don\'t try to talk me out of it! : )
I\' actually not paying for it right now, but its a very enjoyable game, enjoyable enough that I think I\'ll fail my english exam for it.

Could someone who answers \"yes\" to the above question tell me how much bandwidth it uses up? only some games use up a LOAD of bandwidth mutter mutter knight online mutter.

Question 3.
Does it have an O.K. community!

Oh and will you need the Expansion packs to play later (when they exist!)

1. I do.

2. Not much I usually play it in not-full screen and I\'ll have this forum and the guildwars forum I go to up. But whenever aim is running while gw is running gw lags like crazy, no idea why...

3. Most people are nice but theres the occasional ass like in every other game. About 99.9% of the people at the gwonline.net forums are nice though, make friends with em.

4. No you wont NEED to buy em but you\'ll be stick with less, which\'ll kinda suck after a while.
