divine light your swords !

yeah . so finnaly completed the first sword on that sheet . problem with it is the number of polys (1090) and i mesed up a bit on the side spikes.  i couldnt figure out how to do them .  but for now here  it is :

posted this in an other tread but here divine light:



not so much detail on the grip etc and doesnt match your drawing there but my main reason was the blade.
no smoothning etc. cause there was a bug


*edit*
worked some more


worked out the smoothning bug but the blade just doesnt look sharp with smooth edges everywhere.

nice going with blender. i found it pretty hard to use . i got the basics but  went to try wings and didnt look back . i find it a whole lot easier to use.

yeah, it might be better for me to use but i\'m getting pretty good along with blender now.
and you got no anims in wings right?
your sword looks good but why dont you post a pic from the side. it looks a little like a stick to me now.

GoodWork buggy, you\'r learning and i am happy, i am also learning by doing those silly sketches as i am good on 3d modeling but i never sketched like this before.

both? my curved thingie could use a little smoothning but if i do subsurf i also lose the sharp edges.
