broken weapons
« on: May 08, 2005, 02:32:21 am »
I asking for the possibility to loot broken weapon...

And even, during a battle when an ennemy protect himself with his sword I would like to see (in the command line) that his weapon is broken and then I would like him less powerful (cause he fight with a broken weapon or with his hands)...

broken weapons should be able to be sold... but for a little price very ridiculous price... or maybe you could repair it...  to sell it for a better price to a blacksmith (off course the weapon wont be really powerful)

What do you think about that ?

and even I dont think it would be hard to create a broken release of every weapons cause the model already exists...

It would be more reallistic !

Well there\'s a reapair shield and repair weapons skill so I think this is something in the devs mind already.

not sure nilrem : maybe did they just think about weapon damages and ability to repair them but not broken weapon and lowcost one (because of their little quality).

Well, I\'m sure no NPC is going to sell low prices (broken) weapons. But surely players can do it, instead of reparing it maybe they want to sell it to another player; but imo they would afford the blacksmith bill and have their weapon fully repaired.

once metal is broken... the weapon becomes weak... but once the broken weapon is sold blacksmith could try to repair it... or to forge another one with the metal of the previous one...

so the price of a broken sword will be the price of the metal nothing more

it may be interesting to create a very very good blacksmith, a unique one in Yliakum, he will be the only one to be able to repair a broken weapon... hum off course the price must be particulary impressive...
