Hopefully you answered \"yes\" to the question, because you need to upload the dump file to a (web)server and post the link to the file here.

The file is in your main planeshift folder and called something like \"PlaneShift___Addr.dmp\"

If you give planeshift the .dmp file that file gives them all the info they need to stop that from happening. This only happens when something major happens and has to close down the game to minimize damage to you\'re computer system. Its fully normal in such case.

If they are given the dump file, they will obviously fix the bug eventually, probably even soon, as it\'s a crash bug. Without .dmp files, they will not be able to determine what needs to be fixed, and thus obviously not fix it.

There are some known problems that will cause your system to crash.  You could read more of the boards or try disabling your sound card.  However you may have to fix the setup program first.

Sure there is a way to fix it \"quickier\". I was talking with venge a few days ago, and he said that he will take bribes for bugfixes.. 10 bucks moves your crash to the top of the stack ;)

Seriously, there isn\'t much you can do about it, and it doesn\'t look like you\'re even getting the same error as the original poster. Patience, young Jedi... Or you could always just learn c++ and fix it yourself :)

As for dump files, try this: http://ps-mc.net/?p=5
