windows has this wonderful property where the longer it sits on harddrive, the more and more confused it gets, until it can\'t function any longer.  That will solve our troll problem!

btw, if it weren\'t for linux, there would be no open source movement, and very likely no Planeshift.  And if it weren\'t for macs, there would defenitely be no windows!

Ok.....I am new to this game and downloaded it on Sunday and I heard it is supposed to be fun. And now when I take a 24 hour download I here the server is down..........Guess how that makes me feel............It is Tuesday......They said it would be up Monday or Sunday.....and its a little past that dont you think?
PLEASE TELL ME IT IS ALMOST DONE!!

Another question which someone MIGHT know the answer to:

Will the update give Planeshift a new name?  As in, will it change from Crystal Blue to something else, or will it still be Crystal Blue?

Not like it really matters at all, just wondering.

I have solved why updates aren\'t done yet even though they said they would be on Monday, wahoo. Check the thread I started. Hope it clears some things up.

ok well you play your games with a mac/linux, and i\'ll use my PC, let\'s see which one has more power :D and for windows, how long does it take? i\'ve had the same version/ HD on my computer no problems yet, u must mean in like ten years when it outdated or something, by then u will have already updated to something else :D bottom line PC pwns for gaming, linux and mac are the ugly step children that are kept under the floorboard.

you know that linux also runs on a pc?! and mac isnt a os, its a computer-system with another architecture than the pc...

Dude the servers arent going to be long. but just be patiant and let them do their work. I mean i would not rather go on a game full of bugs. I\'d rather they fix them first if you know what i mean. because it can lead of all sorts of odd things. i.e. char deletion up to free cheese!!

mind thats a good thing \"lol\"

Anywhey. just let them do their work and you will like this rebuild trust me :)
