is the dwarf the only race that can craft? and can anyone point me towards the player guide on crafting if its implemtned yet?

Oooooh, yes it is.
But only GMs can get to the secret and magic place called NPCroom in the laanx server where everything like that is kept.

We will very soon introduce basic crafting to players too, just stay calm :)
