This games either hates me or something is wrong

:( why does it say sever fail or something like that when i try to login aaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggh

after trying like five times to download this i finally got but nnooooooooooo i still can\'t play

signed a fan of PS from the world of rs

ps.s if this game is as good as it is i will spread word around rs (ruunescape)

Server is down for updates.

It\'d be kind if you searched ahead of time, it says this on the main site as well.

Allo all,

So does anyone know just how MUCH was being updated anyway? This seems like quite a long time - it\'s only a few more hours until Tuesday, when they said that they\'d have it finished on Sunday (saying it would be down for the weekend).

Does anyone have any insight as to when the servers might be back up again? I\'m also a new player who had the utmost luck of finding it and being incredibly drawn in, and extreeeeemely excited to get started and play it when? Friday night/Saturday morning.
This seems like a preeetty long \'weekend\', so I was just wondering if there was a whole LOT they were fixing, and most importantly:
if anyone knows exactly when this might be back up?

You could take a gander at the recent changes documented in the CVS, Talin.  It\'s a rather dry read, though. ;)

It\'s really too bad that you caught the wave at the wrong time.  The schedule estimates are almost always conservative ones, so perhaps Wednesday at the latest.  Then again, I\'m a bit of a pessimist.

Don\'t worry, though.  The tech demo is well worth the wait.  (remember, this game is still in its alpha stage -- it isn\'t a full-fledged release yet -- which is why bugfixes like these must happen)

but since I\'m not, I\'ll just say, these things take time. Its not always possible to give an accurate estimte.

\"Snide\" or not, I\'ve always loved that saying. Yeah, I was just wondering if perhaps some of those programmers really did frequent these boards (but hopefully not right now, as I\'m assuming they\'re busy, heheh), or someone else who may have some idea.
This\'ll be extremely exciting, and this seems to be a very RP friendly site as opposed to many of the newer 3D games which are all PVP and basically a hack&slash game that claim to be an RPG. Really excited for it to start - maybe send a post to this thread once it is up and running again, whoever finds out first, so the others that\'re wondering know?

I date a programmer who programs for my business and I can guarantee even with special consideration, it still takes forever. At least I\'ve learned that it takes forever because usually unplanned for things pop up. Sometimes it\'s just cause something was good on television though. I also just found this game this weekend and am waiting anxiously.
