what is a rank when it is talked about in the guide.

Limit 8th rank for magic. Limit 8th rank for martial arts

i know that this is not implmented but is it an level like i can get past level 8 for swords or axes

Yeah it basically just means level.

so if your are a dawf in the future you bascically can\'t fight. i heard that at lv 10 you can do 15.XX damage for a basic sword. so at lv8 im guessing 10-12damage. isn\'t that very liminted to what you can do

I\'m not sure where you found anything saying dwaves won\'t be able to use skills above 8th. At anyrate, it doesn\'t matter as that list was for a slightly differnt rating of skills, so it will have to be reworked for when it is implimented. Just consider the current info as guidelines

On the races page, it does say that dwarves have limits on magic and martial arts at level 8. However, though this is a magic limitation, martial arts refer only to La\'har, Esteria and Argan, the not-yet-implemented martial arts skills (I am fairly sure about that, someone correct me please if I am wrong). The limit has nothing to do with swords or axes or whatever. You can be a dwarf and comfortably train to like 40 or even 100? in axe or sword.
