(only devs can have avatars that stinks cause... I don\'t know.

Devs can have avatars probably because
1) they are special
2) they are better than you
3) everyone having avatars generally leads to forum lag

it has been discussed many times, it helps signify them from the others, and that is the way it has and always wil lbe(as far as i can remember:P)
