Guys, I have have found a keylogger on my comp. The guy already got into my guildwars account but didn\'t do much except remove me from my guild and make 2 new people.

The chances are hey also has the pasword to my account here so if you guys see any strange posts or anything be suspicius because it may not be me.

I got that bitches email adess becaus of my firewall and virus scanner so I\'m going to have a little chat with him. I might call the cops on him if I can get where he lives or somthing.

Th cances are this guy knows all the passwords to everything I have gotten into this week so that would be this account, guildwars, my email adress, aim, msn, and 2 other forums.

Thanks for your time.

The guys email is ultima_devilbird7@bluebottle.com

Don\'t chat first, get a hold of his ISP.  Now.  Through his e-mail company.  Call them and ask about all this.  Chances are you can find out who this guy really is and get him booted off the internet until he switches carriers.

Unfortunately for you, and fortunately for me, I have never had to run through this before.  They should have contact info by where you can phone or e-mail them, too, phone being preferable.  Then again, some companies are uber-protective of privacy...  There are many IP tracers on the internet to find ISP\'s.

My friends dad  has this neat little program that logs all attempts to get on his computer, traces and locates the buggers right back to their door number, find that then visit the punk with a baseball bat :D

Oh wow...
Remind me to never try to access that computer.
It may be detrimental to my health...

Not that I even know how to do such a thing.

What virus scanner did you use to find the key logger?

I am looking for a good one for my computer.  My current virus scanner is out of date.  I am not too worried I am running trial copies of spybot search and destroy and zone alarm.

And good luck to you Efflixi

I use McAffe.
I have actually held a real AK-47 before dragonfire.
My friend with the AK took it to shoot in the desert and was caught by a park ranger, he has to go to cout now. :P

Oh ya and this:

Hi Ara,

The account is question has been closed for being in breach of
Bluebottle\'s terms and conditions. Thank you for informing us of
their activity.

Bluebottle partners with an anti-spyware provider which will protect
you against these types keylogger activities. Please let me know if

HACKER = PWNED  :D  :D  :D  :D

Edit oh ya and my firewall lets me trace anythings ip that gets in or out of my comp. :D

Last step, get his isp and get em to cancel sevice to him.
Now I have his address, his old email address, and his ip address. How can I find out his isp with those 3...
Bluebottle refused to give it bcaus of their privacy policy. So it\'s up to me to get it.

I get his sevice disconnectd and he\'s quite screwed because I don\'t think there are very many isps in Cary NC. :D

Hmmm if i were you i\'d call the police.  There\'s a high possiblity the person has taken over someone else\'s computer and hacked yours from there, you know, so its probablly not a good idea to visit him/her yourself.
Heres a website to get someone isp from their ip address:

http://network-tools.com/default.asp? (Use the option X-Whois).

Though i couldnt get it to work myself, so i dunno.  Just google \"isp ip address\" and you\'ll get something soon enough.

EDIT****
Downloading LokBox Lookup seems to work for getting isp\'s from an ip address - http://www.lokbox.net/Lookup/index.asp

I say we all send the script kiddie hate mail... >.>
Not that I condone such juvenile activities or anything. :D

Are you sure that address is his?  Generally you can only get the ISP\'s address because they just assign IPs to everyone and their name/address is the one that officially \"owns\" the IP.  They don\'t give their customers\' addresses out to any joe-schmoe, especially a search engine.  That\'s how I\'ve always seen it work, anyway.  Many online Whois searches will give you the ISP name, too so just check with on of them.

Sounds like the name is \"Savvis.\"  Looks like they\'re cracking down on spammers...  Then again, it looks too professional for a public ISP.  Maybe that was the company that provided the search?  What was his IP address, anyway?

Heh, and this is why I don\'t purchase things online through unsecured computers.

I hope that guy didn\'t do any damage, Efflixi...

lol why would you think the guy would log onto your forum account, that would be a waste of time. Usually you would snatch a few free programs and burn up your system on the way out :P
