How do I create a character?

How do I change the way my character looks? I click on the arrows, but nothing happens...

Also, I tried running through the process with out modifying the whay my character looked, and it said I still needed to choose a species, but I thought I did... is there anything special I have to do?

there are limited changeable skins now, so your probably choosing a race with only one skin.
deal with it is all ive got to say.

u cant chage some of the faces etc... cuz they havent put that feature in yet but they will soon

okay... that might explain the appearance issue, but why does it tell me that I have not selected a spieces? What do I have to do to \"select\" one?

i got that to i think its a bug! but i close the window and reopen the window  and it worked. try that

Reopen as in... minimize it and restore it? (Using Windows OS)

I believe he means close the game and start over. Im gonna try what he said cause Im having the same issue, also people need to try not to be so rude to us newbies all he did was ask a few simple questions.

Seems to have solved my problem.  Just close the game and start it over and it should work.

I have heard the character creation system described as \"unpolished\".  Changes will made eventually.
 
Warning: you can not delete your characters. You only get four slots.  And the characters will be wiped eventually.

Actually, you can change the faces on the Dermorians. Just thought I wanted to add this, also some say Cherpow has made an additional skin for the Dermorians... but I can\'t get it to work anyway, besides I don\'t play Dermorian so I actually couldn\'t care less
