Somthing unexpected happened in PlaneShift: Crystal Blue Exception at adress: 00000000, Exception code: C0000005

i am on Windows XP and this occurs when i start up the game and it loads the loading finishs and then hits me with this error

i also have this error when trying to run the updater

 The instruction at \"0x00000000\" referenced memory at \"0x00000000\" The memory could not be \"read\"
