so is planeshift working or not ?

ok i just came back to the forums after a while. um i cant work it out . is planeshift updater fixed or still being fixed ?

please tell me.  if its a stupid question flame away just  let me know please .

Though some images (shortcut icons across the top of the screen) look squished to me.

This has something to do with the settings in one of the .cfg files, I think.. I was playing around and then everything disappeared.  I believe psclient.cfg holds all the window sizes and arrangements.  You could also ask for help elsewhere on the forums, since I think it\'s not a \"mac specific\" thing (even though it\'s only happened to us...)

Hope you don\'t mind me bumping this thread, but I\'m having the same problem that was reported at this thread: http://www.planeshift3d.com/wbboard/thread.php?threadid=11540&boardid=32&styleid=3&sid=d07d339f386e18556e32bb06e86ad828 (sorry for the horrible link, it says HTML isn\'t allowed), wherein we were directed to this thread here. Anyway, I was hoping there had been a solution to the problem of the messed-up buttons at the top of the screen. Thanks, and sorry if I just failed to find said solution somewhere obvious.

Except that that solution is a bit of a problem on a mac. The usual right-click equivalent for one-button mice and trackpads (something in great supply with macs), command-click, acts just like a normal click. The only way I could fix the shortcut buttons was by plugging in a two button mouse and using its right button to toggle the squished arrow into its normal double arrow appearance.

[Further experimentation yields that I can actually shift-drag the \'mover\' in order to solve the problem - it\'s a little square in the lower right corner of the set of icons that appears when shift is being held down while the cursor is in that area.]

Is there a way to set the game so that command-click is automatically interpreted as right-click?

I believe in PS, it\'s control-click (or maybe option-click). Try those and tell me how it works out.

Control-click (aka ctrl-click on my laptop), option-click, shift-click... none of them act as a right-click. In Options/Control/Mouse they are properly differentiated between (modifier key + Mouse1), but command-click only registers as Mouse1.

Nothing short of actually right-clicking with a two button mouse plugged in registers as Mouse2. Now that I\'m playing around with a two-button mouse I can actually edit the shortcuts with the mouse\'s right button. No simple keyboard-click combo that I\'ve tried seems to be recognized as right-click.

Interesting. I remember noticing a post about this bug when testing the Mac Beta (I have a two-button mouse, so it hasn\'t affected me directly). As far as I know, it was never resolved in an official build. However, a little search turned up an interesting find: you can easily set up mouse configurations yourself.

Open your \"Planeshift 3D\" folder and navigate to \"data\" and then \"options\" and open \"mouse_def.xml\" in TextEdit.
Replace the file contents with this:
