) been released proper. I think I will try it out myself. I\'ve got an old 400MHz box lying around not doing anything just yet - a good binary distro will do nicely. Yay, a \"new\" server to play with!
I much prefer fken\'s recommendation - get the net install disk, and download only the programs you want. 8GB\'s worth of data is such a waste of bandwidth as far as I\'m concerned. Especially when you consider that many packages will have security updates and the like, so will change anyway. ( I think this is what fken means? ).
